Short answer
At our Alma Drive facility, storage units run $64 to $250 a month. Climate-controlled units start at $64. Drive-up units start at $80. Outdoor parking is $65.
Where you land in that range depends on two things: how big a unit you need, and whether you want it climate controlled.
What's actually available right now
Climate controlled: $64 to $250 — furniture, electronics, photos, instruments, paper records — anything a Texas summer would find the weak spot in.
Drive-up: $80 to $250 — tools, patio furniture, seasonal gear, boxes — things you'll load and unload often.
Outdoor parking: $65 — a boat, a trailer, a work truck, an extra vehicle.

Climate controlled or drive-up?
Straight answer, because this is where most of the price difference lives.
You want climate control if you're storing wood furniture, anything electronic, photographs, artwork, musical instruments, business records, or anything held together with glue. A metal box in a Plano August gets hot enough to warp, crack, and delaminate. It finds the weak spot.
Drive-up is fine — and cheaper — if you're storing tools, patio furniture, camping and seasonal gear, exercise equipment, or sealed plastic bins. You also get to back the truck right up to the door, which matters a lot on moving day.

What size do you need?
A rough guide, and honestly the most common mistake is renting too small and having to move up:
5x10 — a one-bedroom apartment's worth, without the appliances.

Sizes are approximate, and it's worth measuring the two or three biggest things you're storing before you decide.
About that price
The number you see when you reserve is the number you pay when you move in. We don't run a dollar teaser that resets in ninety days, and we don't quote a rate that only exists until the promotion ends.
Rates do change over time — anyone who tells you otherwise isn't being straight with you. Ours move with demand and occupancy, and not often. What we won't do is advertise one price to get you in the door and count on you not noticing the other one later.
Where we are
6900 Alma Drive, Building B, in Plano — north of downtown, easy to reach from Park Forest and central Plano. Month-to-month, no long-term contract. Gate access 6 AM to 10 PM, seven days. You can rent online any hour and move in the same day; the office is open weekdays 10 to 2, and Saturdays by appointment.
We're a Texas family that owns and runs this place. If something goes sideways with your unit, the person who can fix it isn't four levels up a phone tree.
