At our place on West 23rd Ave, storage units start at $47 a month.

Every unit here is the same kind of unit: drive-up, ground level, your own roll-up door, pull the truck right to it. So there is no upgrade tier to talk you into and no second price list. The only thing that moves your price is how much room you rent.

That makes this about the simplest storage decision you will make in Pampa. Pick the size. Pay for the size.

One kind of unit, on purpose

We don't have climate-controlled units in Pampa, and we're not going to tell you we do. This is a drive-up property, plain and simple.

For most of what people out here store, that's the right building anyway. Tools and shop equipment. Patio furniture and yard gear. Hunting and camping gear. Boxes from a move. Seasonal inventory for a small business. Household goods while a place sells or a family sorts things out. Drive-up handles all of it, and it handles it cheaper than a conditioned building would, because you're not paying to run air on a metal box all August.

Where you should think harder: anything that genuinely needs steady temperature and humidity — a piano, old photographs, some electronics. A drive-up unit in the Panhandle swings with the weather outside it. If that's what you're storing, call us and say so before you rent. We would rather tell you straight than take a month's rent on a unit that's wrong for your stuff.

So how much is yours?

Depends on the size, and the honest answer is that the size you need depends on what's going in it. A single room's worth of furniture, a shop's overflow, and a three-bedroom house are three very different rentals.

Two things worth doing before you rent:

Measure the biggest three items — the couch, the mower, the deep freeze. Those set the floor, not the little stuff.
Rent one notch bigger than you think. The most expensive mistake in storage is filling a unit to the door and then having to move everything into a second one a month later.

What the bill actually looks like

Rent is month to month. It's collected on the 1st. When you're ready to go, we need ten days' notice before the end of the month, and once a month is paid for, it's paid for.

No code to enter. No first-month gimmick. The number you see when you rent is the number that comes out of your account.

About the rate

Storage rates move over time, ours included. They go up now and then, based on demand and how full the place is, and anybody in this business telling you different is selling something.

What we don't do is advertise a price we have no intention of keeping. No teaser rate designed to reset once you've already hauled everything in and hung a lock on the door. The price you're quoted to move in is a real price for a real unit.

You can rent online any hour of the day and move in the same day — no waiting on business hours to get a unit. The gate is open 6 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, so evenings and Sundays are yours. The office is open Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 2 PM. Saturday by appointment — call and we'll meet you out there.
